Bruce Duffy has lived in the Catskills his entire life and has enjoyed the benefits of a healthy environment. Dedicated to preserving the environment for future generations, he has been a member of Trout Unlimited for over 20 years, served 12 years as Chairman of Water Quality for Ulster County Environmental Management Council, and Executive Director of the Catskill – Delaware Natural Water Alliance, Inc. About 6 years ago, he was awarded the “Stream Champion Award” by TU national, with a write up in their national magazine. In the past 15 years he has received over a dozen awards from other environmental organizations and national, state, and county government agencies. He is self-employed and makes a living by designing and building homes, fine furniture, welding / metalworking, designing and installing radiant heating systems, and energy conservation. Art has always been a strong influence and is incorporated in the everyday things that he builds.
