S. B. Woods is a sculptor, and performance installation artist. Her work has been seen in New York at numerous venues including St. Marks Church, The Kitchen, P.S.1 Long Island City, Performance Space 122, La Mama, The Knitting Factory, Roulette, DIA Art Foundation, the Whitney Museum, the Judson church, the St. Olaf College Flaten Art Museum in Minnesota. Her work abroad has been seen at the Rote Fabrik and the Kunsthalle Museum in Basel, Switzerland.

The video of the "Cocoon and the Butterfly' is in the Performance archives at MoMa NYC.

Currently Woods is working on a new performance installation, Stone Writing on Cloud.
